Blocking a prolific spammer

  I am continually bombarded by a prolific spammer; I literally get hundreds of spams a day and this has gone for months. The spams go into the spam folder where I can delete them, but it is an annoyance having to continually deal with this. Is there some way to entirely block the addresses this spammer uses?

  Hi there, if the spam is going to the spam folder, then our anti-spam software, Akismet, is doing its job.

  You don’t need to manually delete spam, it’s automatically deleted after 30 days and doesn’t count against your storage quota.
