blocking access to a user

  I need to block access to my blog by user “paraethesia”. I received an email today notifying me that this user has access to my blog, and I need to block her. Please help me to do this. She is blocked from my facebook and other accounts, for abusive behaviour.

  I think the only way you can stop this person from having access to your blog is to make it private. If you have a public blog there is no way of stopping a person from reading it.

  If she leaves unpleasant comments on your blog maybe you need to set it to approve all comments before publishing. That way none of your other readers will see them and if she doesn’t get the satisfaction of them being published she might end up giving up.

  ….hmmm, ok, well that is an option I guess; but if she is already subscribed to it, and I now make it private, how will that prevent her from seeing it? I just wish there was an easy way to just block someone, like FaceBook has….

  …did some experimenting with private vs public, and invites….and I think it’s worked. She should no longer be able to view it unless invited. Thank you for your help, metan1!
