blocking an unwanted reader's 'like'

It seems that a porn site is liking some of our articles, presumably to get readers to their site. Our material deals with human rights issues and the war on Ukraine and has nothing to do with porn. How do I undo their ‘like’ or block them from continuing?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

you need to likely update your settings so you can block such users.

Hi thanks. This is not a comment though, that I could deal with. This is a “like” that sits on the page. I’m wondering if these are removable/blockable.

  • Hi there,

I looked at a few of your most recent post and don’t see any likes that are linking to pornographic sites. Can you please provide me with links to a few posts where it does occur?

Just as it’s not possible to prevent anyone from reading and following posts on a public site, it’s not possible to prevent anyone with a WordPress.com account from liking your posts on a public site. But in order to find out if there is anything else we might be able to do I need to see examples of the likes you describe.
