-
Heya,
I am currently being harassed (well trolled) by a user using the following e-mail ((email visible only to moderators and staff)), how do I block them from using the comment forms and block all yopmail e-mails from commenting or using my contact forms on any of my sites?
Cheers

Hey Rage,
I saw a recent thread with a staff reply that would help you block the troll:
Try to go to your Settings and open the Discussions tab. Scroll down, there is a Comment Blacklist field. Add the name or email or any specific of the “troll” there – if something matches in the Comment Blacklist, the comment is marked as spam.
You can find further information on Comment Moderation here:

Hope this helps!

Hey,
As far as I can tell, you can’t completely block someone from using your contact form. You can mark someone’s contact form feedback/message as spam in your WP Admin > Feedback area. Check out this WordPress resource: https://en.support.wordpress.com/forms/contact-form/#feedback-management
Feedback is managed much like comments. If a feedback is spammy, hover over it and click Spam. If you want to delete a feedback, hover over it and click Trash.
So it’s not quite the same as blocking them, but this could potentially put your troll’s contact form messages in the Spam Filter.
Hope this helps!
