Blocking people from your blog

So basically, there’s this girl (I have no idea who she is), but out of the blue she started leaving comments saying I’m a copycat and that everything I post is copied from someone elses blog, from the articles I post, to the way I write. (Which is completely untrue)
I would really like to block this girl from ever going onto my blog again, but the problem is she isn’t signed into WordPress, so I have no idea how to do this.
I already know that I can simply delete her comments, but I still get e-mails in which I can read the comment, which is making me really sad and I would like it to stop.
So please help me, if anyone knows what I could do.

You can’t prevent people from reading a public blog, but you can put her email address and/or username into the moderation box on your Settings->Discussion page so her comments never go live on your site.
