BLOCKING UNWANTED SUBSCRIBERS
-
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BLOCK AN EMAIL FOLLOWERS OR FELLOW BLOGGER FROM MY BLOG? PLEASE REPLY TO (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Thank You!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
We cannot block or delete subscribers from public blogs. Everyone on the internet can view and follow any public blog. That is in fact what the public designation means.
You can change your blog visibility to “private” http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ Please read this about public blogs that become private blogs > Blog Privacy and Subscribers > http://wpcommaven.wordpress.com/2011/09/05/blog-privacy-and-subscribers/
Note that you have complete control over everything that’s posted to your blog. You don’t have to post any comment on your blog. Delete troll posts and mark only spam as spam.

Thank you. But it would be too costly with regards to losing followers, to switch to a private setting.
However, Thank You!

But some users are plain rude and scary, they write inappropriate things even though I tried to make the author’s comments into spam, they never go to spam! I don’t want to read his disgusting comments! I need help!

As noted above – set the comments to Moderation and nothing gets by you and onto your site – so you can keep your site clean
A note on email subscribers, even if you could delete them, they could still subscribe to your blogs RSS feed or just visit your blog from time to time

Does having a Premium account change anything?
I seem to remember WordPress allowing blog owners to control who followed them (as authoritarian as that sounds written out). It’s a feature I can live without but would like to see revived, if only because I don’t like the thought of some individuals being able to see my blog – and there’s nothing I can do about it. -
Does having a Premium account change anything?
No – the Privacy and other options (or lack of blocking for a public blog) are the same for all blogs here – no upgrade changes anything given above
-
There is no upgrade that you can purchase that changes what I originally posted above. If there had been I would have posted it.
