Blockquote classes in Cutline?
-
According to this post about blockquotes in Cutline: http://cutline.tubetorial.com/professional-posting-with-cutline/#more-7 the Cutline theme has classes for blockquotes and I do think I see them in the css of Cutline on wordpress.com
If I try to use them however they just get stripped from the
blockquote tags.Is it impossible to use the left and right blockquote classes of Cutline on the wordpress.com version of Cutline?
-
do you have css upgrade?
i think
<blockquote class="x“>is possible to use by placing it in your editor instead of editing the css. in the editor we have the default visual editor or code editor. choose the code editor and place that html code as you wish and save it. -
I dont’ have the css upgrade, what I meant was that the classes seem to be there in the css so I wonder why I can’t use them.
I use the code editor only and If I type
<blockquote class="right">blablabla</blockquote>
and hit save, the class=”right” bit is immediately stripped from the code. This is what puzzles me. -
hmm, it shouldn’t, but maybe because this class is only applicable to this theme, so perhaps that’s why it’s not recognised by the code editor?
you should send feedback. (top right corner of dashboard) that would be a nice feature to have when using cutline.

You’re probably right, if this is the only theme with blockquote classes then the editor is not set up to allow this.
I have sent a feedback. Thanks for the help! -
