Blockquote in Wu Wei

  Happy New Year All!

  I’ve just changed to the Wu Wei template and would like to use the same blockquote look I had in my old template, Misty Look: ie, an image of a quotation mark.

  At the moment, it’s not working. Any help would be much appreciated.

  You need to put the absolute URL for the blockquote image into the background declaration rather than just the relative URL, and then you need to increase the left padding as below.

  blockquote {
  background: url("http://s0.wp.com/wp-content/themes/pub/mistylook/img/blockquote.gif?m=1172446079i") no-repeat scroll left top transparent;
  padding-left: 4.5em;
  }

  @sacredpath,

  Thank you. You are ever helpful :) One thing … in the post below where the quotation is one row high, the quotation image is cut off. How to best tweak this?

  Sorry, I was out to dinner. Add the following to blockquote (it’s the height of the image)

  min-height: 28px;
