Blocks disappear while editing

    Hello,

    There have been two times when everything in a pattern or template I was editing just vanished. This has happened on my custom blog home template and a theme pattern that I was customizing.

    Both times I had the editor open in one tab, and I was clicking around the site in a different tab (not editing–just viewing). When I returned to my editing tab, all of the blocks were gone. Clicking “undo” had no effect. Closing the tab without saving did not restore the blocks.

    Most of the time the editor works fine, and I can view or even edit the site in multiple tabs. But two times the blocks disappeared, and I had to restore them from previous revisions.

    I’m using the Twenty Twenty-Three theme, but it seems to me like a revision or auto-save issue with either the WordPress editor or WordPress.com hosting.
