  I am trying to set up a blog and it wants me to set up a website instead. How can I link a wordpress blog to my existing website?

  Hi –

  No worries. Happy to get you sorted. On WordPress.com you can set up a blog, or a website, or a website with a blog. Small changes in the structure are the only thing that changes this, and the structure can always be modified or changed in the future too.

  Go ahead and register the site address that you want to use for the blog. Do that at My Sites – Domains – Add.

  What is the address of your existing website? You can link your blog to it in the site menu, or through a widget….
