Hi WordPress Team.
I have been having some trouble with creating a new blog. I have been able to successfully publish two blogs as of right now, using the laptop. However, when I try to save/publish my third log after adding information, it does not appear to be working. It pops up with the message ‘Publishing of post failed.’ This happened several times when trying to publish using the app on my phone, which is why I switched to the laptop. May this be because of an internet problem or might there be another reason?

It appears this issue is resolved, but please respond if it isn’t.
This message can appear for several reasons – including intermittent internet issues over a cellular network. It sounds like that may have been the case in your instance.
In the future, it may also help to try clearing your cache when you get that message on your laptop.

Today, I have tried to post a new blog on WordPress but it appears as if the issue hasn’t been resolved. I have been using a laptop with a WiFi connection that is relatively stable. The three other members of my group, who have their own websites about the same topic, have been experiencing the exact same problems. I am not quite sure what the problem is, so might there be another issue regarding the WordPress network itself or some other entirely different problem? Thanks.

After getting the message, have you tried clearing your cache and/or cookies with the directions here:
There can be several reasons why a user gets this message. After searching the forum to see what other users found out – it’s usually the message you received is due to a connection error OR possibly a caching/cookie issue. I’ve tagged the staff with ‘modlook’ to see if there’s an answer outside of this.
Let us know if clearing the cache/cookies didn’t help.
