  What type of website will I need if I want a blog

  Hi there,

  Most if not all of the WordPress.com themes support posting, which is how you will be able to create a blog. Here at WordPress we use the terms ‘website’ and ‘blog’ interchangeably.
  Go to My Site > Site > Posts to create posts. If this isn’t appearing for you, please share the URL of your site and the name of the theme you’re using.
