  I have created a blog for a friend but I do not want my email as the contact and I would like them to take over the running of it through their email address. Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes. Your friend registers a username account using a different email address http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ Then you add the new username account as an official user of the blog, and designate them as an Admin. http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/#invite-people-to-contribute-to-your-blog Then you transfer the blog to the new username account using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
