blog account delete and follower notification

hello again. I have a question over two things. I want to delete a blog at wordpress and also I need to know if my followers get notifications each and everytime i may edit and update the post / if i publish privately, do the followers get a notification? I make few changes to a post in a day, i wouldn’t want the followers to get notified each time so I would like to know. thank you.

You can make your blog “private”. If you do that read this about public blogs that become private blogs > Blog Privacy and Subscribers > http://wpcommaven.wordpress.com/2011/09/05/blog-privacy-and-subscribers/

Provided you are logged in under the Admin username account that registered the blog in question you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
After you do that if you cannot locate a verification email, look in your email client spam/junk mail filter for the email with the blog deletion verification link in it and click that link. If clicking it does not work then copy and paste the link into your upper browser bar and click.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content and/or blogs does not remove any indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

There is no way to control this at all. If you publish posts then the posts will be in the RSS feed.
