Blog Address?

  I’m trying to add WordPress to my ByWord application (Mac OSX El Capitan). It is asking me for a blog address, which I assumed would be clayesq.wordpress.com, but it says it is invalid. Am I doing something wrong, or do I have the wrong address?

  Hello Clay,

  Unfortunately it looks to me that ByWord doesn’t support any WordPress.com blog at the moment, as it only supports self-hosted blogs powered by the WordPress.org software.

  I’m going to tag this thread for Staff attention anyway, just to double check with them. Cheers!

  Unfortunately, Byword cannot be used to import directly into your WordPress.com blog. The most effective way to publish posts on WordPress.com is to create them directly in our editor. Then, you can auto-publish to outside social networking sites if you like:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

  However, if creating your articles in Byword is very important to you, you may look into a self-hosted WordPress.org site, rather than a WordPress.com-hosted blog.
