  Hey!

  I am writing to you because I used to own the blog tamaralukovics.wordpress.com which I never actually used after registering it. Then I deleted it, because there was some random content on it that I never used, and I wanted to delete the whole and create a new blog on the same address. But now wordpress doesn’t allow me to use tamaralukovics.wordpress.com, even though I don’t have it anymore and as far as I know I deleted the whole thing. So now it only allows me to use tamaralukovicsblog.wordpress.com which I don’t like as much.

  Could you please somehow change my current blog address to tamaralukovics.wordpress.com? In the future I intend to upgrade anyway, but for a couple of months I would like to keep the free plan, until I am ready to upgrade.

  No that is not possible.

  Deleting a blog URL is not easily done and multiple warnings that deletion is intended to be permanent and non-reversible are given all along the way.

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/

  The domain tamaralukovics.com is still available, so if you want to use that it’s a possible solution.

  I didn’t mean to offend you. I just felt it would be valuable for the discussion that @tamaralukovics knew that tamaralukovics.com was available, since she anywas wanted to upgrade later =)

  It’s Tuesday (I think) and that’s a manic Monday type of action lol :D.

  I’m not offended. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years and have experienced all wannbe support staff members learning how to answer support questions for a decade now. I predate all support staff being on staff except one member and I predate the support docs too.
