  why do i still have wordpress in my address? i tried to pay $18 to just have “.com” but still have “wordpress.com”. It looks as if the PayPal transaction didn’t go through. How can I go back and fix this? Right now I am only seeing the option to go Pro for $99.

  Go here please > Dashboard > Store > My Ugrades
  Do you see any upgrades registered there?

  Got it. The transaction hadn’t gone through and I found a link to get my own domain for a fee. Thanks.

  After you make the domain mapping purchase and do the set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient. Best wishes.
