Blog Address
-
I deleted my previous blog and am now trying to create a new one but it is saying that the blog address already exists.
If I deleted the blog, shouldn’t the blog address become available again? I would really like to use my old one.
Help please.
Thanks -

If you delete the blog, it and the URL are gone forever, as is clearly spelled out in the warnings you receive during the deletion process.

I didn’t realise that once it was deleted it wouldn’t become available again.
Thanks for your help.

You’re welcome. You can always get the domain mapping upgrade for $17 a year and get whatever.com instead of whatever.wordpress.com.

raincoaster are saying that there is no way to change your blog URL and then reverse back to the previous URL?
-
That’s correct and that’s what the support documentation clearly states.
