  I came up with the perfect name for the travel blog I’ve been wanting to start – I searched for it and on the page it said that the author has deleted the blog. Then when I tried to make a blog with this name, I wasn’t allowed to. How come?

  Hello,
  It’s the policy of WordPress.com not to recycle blog names: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can create a new blog using a variation of the original name, though.
