blog address availability

  Hi, I have a question about a blog address availability issue. I was trying to use a specific address, but the system said it already exists. When I tried to visit that address, it showed that the blog was deleted by the author. I am wondering when I would be able to use that address as it’s no longer in use anymore. Thanks.

  Provided you are logged in under the username account that registered the blog you can delete it by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  Please note that deleted blog URLs are not recycled.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade as it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
