Blog address change causes blog shutdown
-
I changed the official address of my blog site but I did not change my user name. Making this address change shut down my blog site completely. Google states that it has been closed.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What address did you change it TO? http://theskepticalmaltball.wordpress.com/ works just fine for me.
Note that whenever you change the URL, search engines will label the old URL closed. So don’t do that.

Dear Raincoaster,
Thank you for your reply. I changed from mrcbey.wordpress.com to theskepticalmaltball.wordpress.com. The original address was a mistake resulting from my low technological intelligence. Do you know of a procedure for reinstating my original address as a secondary access point?
By the way, I scanned over your site and I’m very impressed by the high sophistication and the to-the-point writing. -
Dear Raincoaster,
I forgot to mention that on my computer, even when I type in the new blog address, I get the shutdown message mentioning the previous address, so I can’t gain access unless I go in through WordPress.

mrcbey.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.
That is, as the warnings say, permanent and irreversible. The new address works, and I suggest you simply try to build on that.
Thanks for the compliments. Sorry I didn’t have better news for you.
