blog address confusion!!

  Why does my blog address have “dotcom” as part of the body’s whole address? When I registered I typed in just the name and expected to see “wordpress.com” at the end, instead I’m seeing this “dotcom.com” and am totally confused about why that is so. I attempted to purchase the domain name for $18.00 and don’t want this “dotcom.com” to be part of the entire name. I can’t find any explanation about why this extension is there, how to get rid it, change it, or if an upgrade will restore the name as I originally registered it – ” vibrationalalignment.”
  Please kindly explain.

  The only way for that to show there would be if you entered it (or possibly entered vibrationaligment.com) in the box.

  You can change it to vibrationalignment.wordpress.com by following the directions in the following support article:
