Blog Address Creation

  I’m trying to create a new blog, so I’m at https://en.wordpress.com/signup/?blog=1. It wants a new ”Blog Address”. I don’t really care what URL is created. I’ll save it and put it in my index, whatever it is.
  and no matter what I type in that window, when I hit submit, it disappears and I’m back in that window, which I assume is your way of saying ”that URL is already taken”.

  (a) It would help if you would be more explicit that this is the problem,

  (b) Why do I have to come up with the URL, if I don’t care what it is?

  (c) I can’t even submit this question/comment without having a URL for my blog, which is what I can’t do!!

  If indeed you are choosing an existing address, that information should be visible to you. Could you check if it might be a browser issue?

  And yes, you do have to specify an URL, the system won’t choose one for you, I’m afraid (as for http://crazylyle.wordpress.com/, actually).
