blog address format changes?
-
I’ve made several travel blogs in the past few years. There appears to be three possible formats for the web address:
1. A generic address based on my user name ie:
https://magneticinclination.wordpress.com/2. An address based on the name of the blog ie:
londonberlinparis2016.wordpress.com
amsterdammunichlondon.wordpress.com3. And now a new format:
https://magneticinclinationblog.wordpress.com/How did I end up with these different formats? I prefer the second type but I don’t know how WP sets these up or how I can control the eventual type of site address.
Any thoughts?

They’re basically all the same.
When you first create an account your username is, by default, the same as the site name. You can then add other sites to the same user account with their own names. If that’s what you’re trying to do just log in with the account you want the site to be linked to (i.e. the username and password you want to log in with to manage the site) and then create a new site.
