blog address isn't changing

  Currently my blog address is set to andrewearles.wordpress.com but it’s redirecting to
  http://andrewearles.com/. I want to use the wordpress subdomain now. Please let me know how to switch it.

  Hi there. I’ll tag this for staff to remove the domain mapping for you. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting.

  They are currently experimenting with making the live-chat feature available to more users for one week. If a staff member is available a pop-up window saying “How can I help” should appear on your dashboard, allowing you to contact them directly to help you with this. If you manage to contact staff this way before they answer this thread, please set this thread to resolved and let me know so I can remove the staff tag again.

  I’ll be happy to cancel andrewearles.com for you, if you no longer wish to use that domain.

  Before I go ahead, I want to make you aware that it can be tricky (and costly) to regain ownership of cancelled domains. It can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that it will be available to you again once cancelled.

  If you want to keep using andrewearles.com but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can transfer the domain to another registrar.

  If you’re certain you wish to give up full ownership of andrewearles.com then let me know and I’ll carry on to cancel. I’ll be happy to help with any questions you may have on transferring the domain also.

  I didn’t realize you guys owned the domain. Can I renew through you? If possible we WOULD like to continue using andrewearles.com.

  Oh, I’m sorry, Andrew. I made a mistake there!

  Looking over you account again I can see that you have a mapping subscription, and that your actual domain was registered through another provider. It looks like the domain has expired through the third-party provider and so I’ve removed the mapping subscription. Your site’s now viewable at the free, default domain: andrewearles.wordpress.com.

  I’m sorry but the exact same thing is happening. My free default andrewearles.wordpress.com address defaults back to the invalid andrewearles.com. Please advise. Thanks

  Hi Andrew.

  The mapping has been removed on our end and I’m able to view your site correctly at andrewearles.wordpress.com. If you’re still not able to view your site at the address, could you try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies? If you’re still not able to view your site at andrewearles.wordpress.com after that then just let me know so we can troubleshoot further.
