Blog Address Issues
-
I’ve recently migrated my blog on Posterous to WordPress.com. Then, I made it private because I had to organize categories and more than 217 posts. I also changed its address from “example.wordpress.com” to “theexample.wordpress.com“.
After doing that, I tried to start another wordpress.com blog with the address “example.wordpress.com”, but I couldn’t.
I have read on the Support’s site: If you find that a blog address is registered by another user, you may be able to obtain it for your use if the owner of the blog agrees to transfer it to you. You may contact the blog owner – via a comment on their site or through a contact form, if available – to ask for their consent. If you do not get permission, or do not hear back from the blog owner, we cannot transfer the blog address to you.
Maybe it is a stupid question, but… how do I transfer the previous address (created by me) to myself? u_u
Can anybody help me?
Thank you for your time.

Answering my own question:
Solution:
Dashboard–>My Blogs–> This will take you to a different screen.
On My Blogs screen, move your mouse over the “transfer blog” option. Click it and read carefully the information. A red screen with some confirmation text will apper.
