Blog address not available

  Hello,

  I want to create a new blog as xxx.wordpress.com. When I type the address I want, I get “Sorry, that site already exists!” error. However, when I navigate to this address, I see “xxx.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.”

  I or one of my friends might have taken this address long time ago. Is it possible to get the address of this deleted blog? Or contact who has created and deleted it?

  Hello,
  So once a site has been deleted, it can not be “recycled”, unfortunately. The only way you can possibly be use this address is if you contact the owners and they transfer it over to you. Other than that, staff can not allow you to take over that address.

  how can I find the owners of this site? there is no contact info on the page.

  Really the only way to contact them is through a comment on their site or a contact form if any is available.
