blog addresses keep getting rejected as not valid… why?

  I’m trying to create a blog address but it keeps telling me it’s not valid. Why?

  Without knowing the blog address you’re trying to create, I’m just going to have to pull the answer out of my butt, so here goes.

  1) you are using punctuation marks, etc in the URL
  2) you are attempting to register a URL that someone already used or reserved
  3) you are using a non-standard alphabet.

  Now, which of those applies?
