Blog & admin pages not loading fully
-
Hi there,
For months now all my blog pages, from the blog itself to admin to the wordpress.com homepage, have been either half-loading or not loading at all – except sometimes, when everything will work perfectly. There doesn’t seem to be a pattern to when it will work or not.
What I get instead is a white screen with very, very basic formatting – all text and links aligned down the left hand side of the screen ordered vertically. And it takes ages for even these to load, sometimes up to one minute.
I’ve emptied my cache, logged out and in again, changed themes and generally tried to suss it out, but with no luck. I’ve searched quite a bit for someone with a similar problem but can’t quite find it. Any help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,
RyanThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Haha, oh man, sorry, that would help, wouldn’t it? Coulda sworn I’d included it. Here ya go:

Your blog loads for me and I’m using Firefox 5.0. if you are using and outdated browser go here and update it http://browsehappy.com If you are running the most recent stable version of the browser you use you could have a browser issue you can easily clear up by following these instructions > http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
You have too many posts on your front page. Go here and reduce that number of posts on your front page > Settings > Reading
Blog pages show at most __posts
Then click “save changes” -
This is how to link your username to your blog. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

The ‘Right Now’ module in the dashboard of both my blogs has disappeared… can anyone help?

Another troubleshooting measure you can take is updating your Flash. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of flash. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/If this does not help then The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

Yes go to the top right hand corner of your Admin page. Locate screen options and click the link then select all modules.

It’s on the top right hand corner of your Admin page. http://samedifference1.com/wp-admin/ See the illustration here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/

If that does not work report your issue to Staff here http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After using the searchbox at the bottom there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

No, I’m sorry but I rarely ever looked at it so that’s why I didn’t even notice Staff removed it. :(
