Blog and All Blog Posts Suddenly Disappeared

Hi everyone,
I was preparing a new post which I tried to save, which was unsuccessful. I then realised that my blog appears to be blank although top posts still show up (at this point, at least) in the widget. From the dashboard, I can also see the notification of the latest comments. I haven’t changed anything and was just writing as always.
But I cannot retrieve any blog posts, drafts etc, and even the blog itself seems to be detached from my profile? Even upon typing this, it says my blog ‘is linked to another WordPress.com account’ even though it is my main profile, and right now I am using the exact same dashboard. When trying to post anything, the page goes completely blank (although I’d wish my old posts would shop up again and hope they are not lost).

To clarify, https://mintchocshake.wordpress.com/ is the site you are having trouble with, yes?
The reason I ask is because I see that you have many sites on your account and I want to be sure we are looking at the right one. You should be able to see all your blog posts (across all your sites) from this link:
In the upper left is a link to “switch site” and you can click on that to view blog posts from just one of your sites at a time (instead of seeing all blog posts across all your sites)

thanks for your reply and your time. I was referring to metamorphosesblog.wordpress.com, which (at the time of my initial post) was showing up as an empty blog and now even as a blank white page. I can’t even find it in my blog list any more, although some of the recent posts still show up in the list of all posts (the one you linked). It contained 6,000+ posts and hope they are not lost. The other blogs are fine (yes I know they’re quite a few and I’m not using or needing them all …).
Could you please check again? Sorry for the confusion.

Hi & thank you! I was just editing a post (hence didn’t make changes), which I tried to save. It didn’t work, so I thought I was offline or logged out – but then noticed that something was different – next thing was that all post counts, drafts etc. showed 0.
I took some screenshots if that might help to figure out what could have happened (but know I’m not supposed to post them here in public). -
If you want to add them to https://wordpress.com/media for the site, we’ll send those along! We haven’t figured out the cause yet, but our systems team was able to restore your site for you.

You guys are awesome and did a great job, thank you so much! I have added three screenshots to the media site, feel free to download or link them for your reference and troubleshooting, in case other users have similar issues. I’m so glad having the site back.

Hey there,
Just to reassure you, no content would be lost in instances like this.
I can see all of the posts in place, and everything looks to be as it should be.
Whilst troubleshooting, it looks like the theme is retired: https://wordpress.com/theme/adelle so it may have experienced a lag with loading or similar, which may have resulted in the content not being visible, even though it’s there.
If this should happen again, our eyes would turn to the theme, and we’d recommend using a more up to date theme.
