Blog and subdomain mistake

  I was in the process of setting up one site – dontwastethecrisis.wordpress.com – and wanted to change the URL to another subdomain. I used the domain search to find seekinganarrative.wordpress.com, but I didn’t realise it would set me up with a completely new site! So now I have 2 sites, with the content on one, but the URL I want on the other.

  Is there a clean way for me to retain my content/theme/etc. on dontwastethecrisis and change the URL to seekinganarrative?

  Hi there,

  As you’ve already registered the address you want, you won’t be able to change your existing site to that address any more.

  So instead you’ll need to export your content from the one site, and import it to the site with the address you want.
