Blog and tags not appearing in Reader

  I have an ongoing problem with my blog that can’t solve. My blog does not appear in Reader to followers of this blog and many tags do not appear in Reader. My blog name is vefday and I use that tag occassionally and it doesn’t appear in Reader. Also use tag venus flower and it also doesn’t appear in Reader. I have contacted a few of my followers and they all say my blog does not appear in Reader when I post. Can this issue be fixed?

  I am able to see your posts in the reader with no problem. Here is a search for one of the tags in your most recent post:

  https://wordpress.com/tag/azam-ali/

  The two tags you mention in your post haven’t been used since June of 2014. Posts only stay in the reader for 60 days. So they would not appear in a tag search. If you make a new post with those tags and find that they are not showing up in a tag search, please let us know.

  Thanks so much for explaining how my blog tags appear in reader. I wasn’t aware that tags expire after 60 days. However my other concern is a little more complicated. Followers of my blog are unable to see my new posts in reader. So anyone who has been following my blog for awhile can’t see new posts in reader. Tags are fine but my blog won’t be seen in blogs I follow. I have tested this with other WP accounts that I have. To see my blog posts in reader I have to unfollow then follow again. So new followers are able to view my posts in reader, but older followers can’t. For example if you followed my blog then posts would appear in reader. But anyone who has been following my blog let’s say for a month or more is not able to see new posts in reader. I wonder if this has to do with recent change of domain name on this account. Sorry I’m not explaining this very well.

  Can you elaborate on this a bit more? What did your URL change from and what did it change to?

  Yes I can elaborate. My URL changed about two months ago from http://vefday.me to http://vefday.co

  That shouldn’t cause an issue.

  Does the “a while” that these followers have been following coincide with the name change?

  I’m not really sure as it’s only recently that I’ve noticed the problem. What I will do is post a new blog in a day or two and see what happens.
