Blog anonymity

  If I set up another wordpress blog, would people know I was the author of both my blogs or could I keep the two independent of each other ie, a reader couldn’t tell I was also the author of the other blog?

  You would need two totally separate user IDs and you should never connect the two, either by linking or by reference.

  Just one more thing – would I need to register the other ID with a different email address?

  Yes, exactly. The separate email addresses are the way that wordpress.com keeps your accounts separate.
