blog anonymity

I’ve been trying to make my blog anonymous so that it cannot be traced on the internet when my name is googled. I’ve already made sure that my profile contains absolutely no personal information (including the name, though I deleted the name just 1 week ago). Also, right from the start when I created my blog, I chose the setting which prevented it from turning up on search engines.

    Why is it that:

    1. My blog still turns up on search engines when my name is googled? and
    2. My name shows up next to my blog url even though I removed it/updated my profile?

Is there a way to resolve the problem? Thank you!

The internet is forever – once you have been associated with something that has the chance to come back in the future on a search engine no matter what you do. There are a lot of search engines and sites that index information, not all are well behaved and your chance of finding all of them are nill.

If you want to be “anonymous” user name can’t be even close to ANYTHING ever in your life, never tell ANYONE about the blog, email account that is only used for that blog, email for the blog is not in your email system, all names and passwords are hidden in a sealed envelope somewhere (so a visitor can’t see it anywhere).
