Blog Body Text Not Saving
-
The other day I wrote a new blog (the second on my site) and saved it as a draft, but only the title saved. I ended up rewriting the entire thing and tried to post it, and only the title posted. No photo, no paragraphs of body text. Furthermore, when I went back to check the versions to see if anything had saved, only changes to the title were visible. Literally none of the body text had saved. Really hoping someone has an answer for this, because otherwise my blog just become unusable.
For more context, I’m using Firefox on desktop.

Hi @foolmarquis,
Looking at both your posts, I see you were able to publish the content.
Thanks for letting me know that you use Firefox. This could be browser-related. If the issue persists, please try the following:
- Visit https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ and share the URL next to the green button in your next reply.
- Clear your browser cache.
- Try switching your web browser to the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. You might also want to try out the official WordPress.com app.
- Disable any content blockers, such as Adblock, and any other browser extensions.

Hello!
I ended up rewriting the second post for a third time after testing if the new version was previewing properly, and I saved a copy before publishing to be safe.
I’m wondering if something just went very wrong with the original copy, because all of the previewing, auto-saving, and posting issues were unique to that specific copy of it from the looks of it.
I’ll be sure to check out the resources you shared if I run into this issue again in the future.
