Blog cannot be deleted because it no longer exists
-
I have a blog on my dashboard, http://tammyjrizzo.poppycockpublishing.com, which no longer exists. I had to restructure the entire domain and switch from subdomains to folders for my multiblog network, and now my WordPress.com dashboard has the old, defunct, subdomain-based blog still listed and I can’t find a way to remove it. There is, of course, no wp-admin page for me to log into at that address, since there is no such address to begin with, so I can’t use the normal ‘admin -> delete blog’ route.
What can I do to remove this blog from my dashboard? I don’t want it just hidden and still lurking.
Thank you for your help.

Hi there,

I have linked my self-hosted WordPress blogs to my WordPress.com account so that I can use the JetPack stats plug-in. I still need help from WordPress.com because my self-hosted blogs are linked here and show up here in this dashboard, and that’s the dashboard I’m asking about is the one here that still shows the defunct blog along with my current blogs. If you’re going to allow JetPack to fully integrate with existing WordPress.com accounts for use on self-hosted blogs, surely you can support such integration on the help forums?
I’ll try the WordPress.org forums, as well, but I believe they’ll say, “Well, that’s a WordPress.com dashboard problem, go talk to them.” -

Thank you! I got the first response immediately, not realizing it was automated, which sparked my panic-post. Soon as I posted that, I saw your original, human-powered response. :-)

Hi Tammy, I have disconnect the old Jetpack connection for tammyjrizzo.poppycockpublishing.com. Log out of WordPress, clear your browser cache and cookies and then log back in and tammyjrizzo.poppycockpublishing.com should now be gone from your WordPress.com dashboard.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Cheers.
