Blog Categories not showing content

  I’m using Sela theme and have made a number of different categories. I’ve downloaded and imported some old blogs and have added the categories to them.
  Not all categories are showing when I search. Some are working fine, some are not.
  I deleted one whole blog, went back to the original, categorised everything, changed the theme to Sela and exported and then imported into the central blog. Still misbehaving. Any ideas.
