Blog categorization

  My blog, karlmetivier.net, seems to be blocked by some company firewall because it is categorized as “Social networking”. Do you have any idea why ? Other technical blogs seems to be visible there.

  Hi there,

  It may be because it is hosted at WordPress.com, which has other Social Networking aspects (such as being linked to other blogs via sharing, having a “Like” system, etc). You may want to reach out to your company’s IT department and ask that the URL be whitelisted as a legitimate technological website.
