Add topic to favorites
I am using the WordPress app. the buttons under discussion are all grayed out and it will not let me switch any of them on.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @sagescribe1, are you trying to change the discussion settings on a published post, or on a draft? Or were you aiming to change the default settings for the whole site?

And it looks like comments are on with all of your posts right now, too. Can you link to the post you’re having trouble with?

I don’t know what is different, but when I went in on a laptop instead of the app, I was able to change the settings. They’re still grayed out on the app, though, for both my posts.

I’m sorry, I also don’t understand how to find the URL for individual blog posts to share the link!

You have four posts, correct? Are they greyed out for all of them? Or which two are greyed out?

I have two posted and two in draft mode. Both of the posted ones have all comment options greyed out in the app.

Hi there,

There’s no option in the Android app to turn on or off comments for individual posts. Can you please send us a screenshot of what you’re seeing to better understand the issue you’re having?

That link is not public, so I’m unable to open it. Can you please make sure the link has the right permissions?

You can also upload it directly to your site’s media library, then we’ll be able to view it there.

Thanks, those options are specifically for Accelerated Mobile Pages. They will only be selectable if you have AMP enabled.

Are you in the mobile app, or on a desktop computer? I believe you will have to be on the computer. Its found here on your computer.

I actually do have it on my phone. But I can click the toggle at the top. It’s grey right now, but if I click it it turns blue. Do you get that?

Ah, ok! I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize you had to do all of that stuff from a computer. I thought you could do it from the app. I’ll get on the laptop and change it.

Hmmm, that isn’t showing my iPhone app. Maybe it’s my theme on my test site?
