Blog Content Disappeared
-
I’m having a crisis.
Our organization used our blog as a website (domain: sjsurha.com through godaddy).
I received a notification that we needed to update the Nameservers to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, NS3.WORDPRESS.COMAbout a half hour later, EVERYTHING DISAPPEARED from out site replaced with a “Hello World” blog.
What’s going on??The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Update: This only seems to happen when the site is accessed from within our school’s network. If accessed from outside, everything appears like normal.
Perhaps the school’s servers haven’t updated the NameServers? -
Update: Media and files are still there (via logging into godaddy.com).
Also, when logging in (on school network) it redirects me to sjsurha.wordpress.com/wp-admin, rather than sjsurha.com/wp-admin like normal.
It’s as if it thinks the site is now hosted somewhere else. I’ve changed the NameServers back to the defaults so I guess we’ll see what happens in 24-72 hours.
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

Hi there,
This appears to be a bit complicated. You appear to have had your domain pointed at three different hosts recently. When I did a whois lookup, it appears you recently had the domain pointed at DreamHost last, then you recently pointed it to GoDaddy, but then you also clearly had it pointed here at WordPress.com because you have an account here which you have uploaded content to and fairly recently.
I am of course unable to tell which site is meant to be the correct one, but you can update your nameservers to WordPress.com to see if this is the correct one. Ours are:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Let me know if you need any help with anything else!
