blog content page changed from white to black… HELP!
-
I was moving around my menus and the content page turned from white to black. I didn’t do anything to change this. Please help me. Is there something I can put in the CSS code to override this glitch?
I appreciate any help with this matter.

Your background color is set to black inside the custom colors tool. To update it, go to Appearance → Themes → Customize and make sure the color palette you’d like to use is selected there. If selecting a color box doesn’t work, try clicking the “pick your own color” link and re-selecting white in the color picker.
If you’re still having trouble after that, reply back here with a description of exactly what should be black (the content container or the HTML body background?) and the exact steps you tried using to change it back to white.

Hi,
Thank you for the response. I have changed the site back to white, but here is the problem. When I change the background to any other pattern or color the main part of the website stays white. But when I turn the background black…it makes the entire site black.
Do you know why this is happening? Let me know if you need for me to show you an example. Thanks for your help.

Ah, interesting! I’m not sure why it flips the content container background color like that. I’ll do a little more digging and see what else I can find out about it.

This turns out to be a feature of the theme. When a background color is set, the theme adds a bit of CSS to make the container for the content match that background color.
With the Custom CSS tool that’s included in your Premium bundle, you can override this behaviour using the CSS below:
#page { background-color: #fff; }
