Blog Counter Not Updating

    The counter that is on my blog telling me the number of hits/views to my blog is not updating. It has been at 366 for a couple of days now and I know I have had visitors and views because I am getting new people who are following me. How do I fix this? Do I delete the widget and add it back in, but does that mean it will restart the count? Help!

    Hi there! I am seeing your counter up to 372, now. This reflects your Site Stats in your Dashboard. It can take several hours for your views to update.

    Also, you can see a breakdown of the views you’ve had by visiting this link:

    I wanted to make certain that you were also aware of how all your stats are collected:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/

    You can install a new widget, and it will reflect the number reflect on the blog’s Site Stat page. It will not delete your current stats, but it also will not reflect a number different than what you see in your Dashboard’s statistics.
