Blog created, what next????

  I am moving my old hubpages content over to a new wordpress site adamharkusblog.wordpress.com

  I write about two distinct topics, Travel and Music.

  Initially I setup the first 12 chapters of my “Goa Trip” travel blog, the question is, do I post my music / songwriting articles on the same page? or create a completely separate site specifically for music?

  Also, how do I get started on driving traffic to my blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi adamharkus1!

  You do not need to create a completely separate site for music. You can utilize Pages to separate your content. For example, you could set a static home page and then have links in your Menu to your blog page, your music page, and any other content you create.

  I’ll put together the music page when I get the change.

  I’ve now had a mess about with pages etc..

  I have 2 categories (Music and Goa Trip)

  I have the homepage displaying all my latest blog entries for all categories, which is great.

  I then have separate pages for Music and Goa Trip which display blog posts for the Music and Goa Trip categories (there’s nothing in Music yet).

  This would work fine, but for 2 problems..

  The goa-trip link is now….
  https://adamharkusblog.wordpress.com/category/goa-trip/

  The Goa Trip post now have the heading “Category: Goa Trip”.

  https://adamharkusblog.wordpress.com

  Does that make sense?
