blog dashboard hijacked by viagra ad

    The dashboard admin page of my WordPress blog (Nomadics: pierrejoris.com/blog) has been taken over by a Canadian viagara pharmacy add in the Firefox browser. I reinstalled new Firefox browsers several times, but the viagra take-over returns. This does not happen in either Safari or Chrome — though since yesterday the Safari page has a “404” line on top which also now appears in the blog… yikes, any help most welcome! (I’m working on a MacBook Pro using OSX (10.6.7).

    I see the “404” on top in both Safari and Firefox.
    Unlikely, but the picture in your post “Bahrain: A year in jail for a poem” is too large: it extends into your widgets.

    The picture size was my mistake: I’ve corrected that. But the real problem is the “404 Not Found” which has simply added itself on top of the page and which has become the title of the page. I have no idea what caused this to happen, but need to remove it asap.

    I don’t think your blog is on WordPress.COM

    The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

    your site is not a wordpress.com blog, its selfhosted blog with wordpress.ORG,
    Follow Auxclass advice.

    my input is: when I come to your site via the link it redirects me to a new site selling viagra.(I’m using Firefox 5)

    When I look at google cache I see several text posts about the medication, If you didn’t write them, you might have had a security breech

    head to the wordpress.ORG forums.
