Blog deleted but media files still available

    Some time ago I deleted one of my blogs. Now I see that the media files are still available (e.g. when searching, google gives the links to them). Why haven’t they been deleted? Is their a way to get rid of them too?

    What is the blog URL of the deleted blog, as the one above is ‘live’. Google can take a good few months to clear it’s cache of deleted content, and some search engines seem to keep things for almost forever. When you delete a blog it’s better to delete the images from the media file first because then Google don’t have any links to hold on to.
