Blog deleted but related images still there

    I created a blog with sotretarompeta.wordpress.com domain
    I imported some posts from another external blog
    Then I decided to deleted the blog.
    Then I realize that all images of this deleted blog are available in sotretatrompeta.files.wordpress.com domain.
    Is that normal ? There’s a delay needed by the wordpress servers in order to delete these files ?

    I would like to remove all these images. Someone know how to do that ?

    The blog can no longer be accessed. If the image files in the blog have been indexed by Google they will still appear in Google’s cache, until the cache is cleared approximately every 3 – 6 months.
