Blog deleted but URL still brings up blog page

    I’ve gone through the correct steps to delete several blog. All automated email verifications say they’re gone… but one of them isn’t gone! When I browse to the old URL (http://readerstheatredigest.wordpress.com ), there it is. BUT the only dashboard option in the drop-down menu box is “Global Dashboard”.,No dashboard for the blog so no way to log in to reach Admin => Options => Delete Blog menu options where I can try again to delete the blog. I don’t mind that I can’t erase all traces of my blogs from inside WordPress, but I don’t much like having a blog I no longer want still available to the public because I can’t delete it. How can I stop the URL from working?
