Blog Deleted by whom ??

  trying to set up a blog

  The authors have deleted this site.

  never deleted the site. it wasn’t even used and set-up yet.
  registred a loong time ago, but never set it up, instead selfhosted wp. i never removed kayzaar.wordpress.com. but now can’t get back in.

  huh.. how do i get outta this loop?
  so how do we reset things?

  kayzaar.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  There is no recycling of any deleted blog URLs and only Staff can reply to the question “Blog Deleted by whom ?” I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  It appears that a blog at the address kayzaar.wordpress.com was created by another user four years ago, and subsequently deleted. That address is now no longer available.

  These days we reserve blog names that match user names, but it’s possible that when you created your WordPress.com account several years ago that wasn’t the case.

  I apologize for this situation, but we cannot release that blog name now. You are welcome to create a blog with a different name at any time.

  If an account is way old does that mean that the blog name was not reserved for the account? Has that been changed so that now the blog names are reserved even for the older accounts?

  For an extra 25 bonus points, do you know when the policy was changed so only the account can register the blog that matches the account name?

  @auxclass:

  1) Yes. If there is a blog or username existing in the database, the corresponding username or blog name matching the existing name should not be available. If you discover that this is not happening, please let me know.

  2) We started reserving blog names for users (and vice versa) in 2010.

  2) the 2010 date explains something I saw
