blog deleting and new website header support ?

  Two questions:
  1. I have both a blog and website with you. The more recent website is replacing the blog. How do I delete the blog and not have it effect the website?

  2. On my webstie: http://www.fullplatenofork.com I am trying to customize the header. I have watched all the video info, followed all the forums and step by steps on your site and the new header still appears off to the left of a blank black rectangle. In fact you can only see it if you view the page at 50% . HELP!
