Hello everyone!
My name is Angelina Bezard, I’m a french student working on a blog project which is currently desactivated by wordpress, http://facegag.wordpress.com.
I’m in contact with someone in WordPress called Ryan by e-mail. I’ll explain to you my current situation.
We are a group of 7 french students running a blog for a university project, based on pictures of people doing funny faces. In order to improve our visibility on Google, we use basic technics of SEO: contacting bloggers to present our project and propose to them to write an article or put our link in their blog, we’ve done the same thing with all our friends and family and we also have written a large amount of press release on free press-release websites. Each article is unique and different because those sites check duplicate content. We have created profiles on forums to present our blog and put our address. In a nutshell we’ve done hard work by ourselves without using any software, we’ve never paid for backlinks or hire a firm or someone to work on SEO for our blog. We don’t have any money to put in an university project.
Morevover, we have no financial interest in this blog and we do not provide any advertising or promotionnal content in our articles, comments or elsewhere. We don’t have display, banners our links pointed out commercial websites. We make no money with our blog in any manners and we give no money. All our content has been writen by us, all the pictures have been published with the consentment of the people on it.
All the actions on the social networks, all the content in our blog, all the hard work to improve our visibility has been done by ourselves, we have never delegate those to somebody else (and especially not a firm).
Yesterday our blog has been desactivate by WordPress.
We provide to Ryan, member of the staff, all the informations we have, give him all the access to our personnal google docs containing the list of our published press releases, our professor sent to him an email giving all the official informations needed to identified him, our university and our project. We are gonna to provide all the informations WordPress could need to overhaul our simple request: reactivate our blog. Because we think it is a real mistake…
This suspension has already ruined two months of hard work and hundred hours of work because Google has simply desindexed us.
I tried everything to contact someone directly: by email or IRC in the #wordpress.com chan, because of the jet lag communicate by email is not really convenient.
I really don’t know how to do to prove our fair use of wordpress and prove our good will to solve the situation.
So please, do you have any idea about what can I do more? I’m really desperate about the situation…

I’m sorry but this is not a matter for posting to a public forum. We Volunteers answering support questions have no role to play in this process. This is between you and Staff. You have already contacted Staff by using the “click here to contact us” link in the notice, the ToS department definitely received your request and answered you. Sometimes mistakes may be made but once again we Volunteers cannot determine that and have no role to play in the process. Please continue to communicate with Staff knowing that the policy is to refrain from discussing such ToS issue on the forums.

I’m sorry to post that here but I’ve seen that sometimes members of the wordpress staff give a look on this forum and respond to users. I just wanted some more help not spaming or blaming anyone. I’m just looking for help. :)

Thank you very much. I hope I can solve the problem quickly because our project is marked and will end on december 17th and with no acess to our blog it’s gonna be hum… very difficult :)
